General Information about every class
The importance of warm up and stretching:
This is crucial to the dancer. Most injuries are caused by beginning
exercise with cold muscles.
Warming up with breathing, warms, stretches and brings oxygen to the muscles
allowing more movement and range of motion without injury.
Stretching and yoga also brings our focus into our bodies and away from the
distractions of the day.
This is relaxing and energizing at the same time
giving us a 'fresh feeling' before beginning our dance movement.
All classes begin with a warm up combination of yoga and dance stretching
exercises. This is usually 10-15 minutes.
All classes will end with stretching and yoga for cool down.
